So often the demands in your life may feel like too much to bear, making it difficult to have time or motivation to get organized. Do you find yourself avoiding or procrastinating to do lists and tasks you know would give you more peace of mind if you could “just get to it?” Again, you are not alone. Papers keep piling up, your office is a mess, the garage is packed full, closets are in disarray, your rooms are a disaster, or maybe you find yourself searching for misplaced items as days turn into weeks and weeks turn into months. 

Well, here are your options:
  • Do it yourself –  This method will save money if you can find the time and energy, and will get the job done. However, this is a temporary solution. Without good “systems”, things will easily return to “disaster” status.
  • Ask a family member or friend – Just ignore all the moaning and groaning you will get (or bribes you find yourself making) and you should be fine.  Unfortunately, without the essential organizational “systems”, things could go bad and/or there will be more opportunity for distraction. We’re all human and this is very common in this scenario.

Not only will a good professional organizer help you create organizational systems, but he/she will make sure those systems work with you and your family’s lifestyle.
